How to Use It

  1. Natural lashes should always be thoroughly cleaned and rinsed prior to lash extension application.
  2. Prior to opening Halo UV adhesive, shake the bottle for 30 seconds to ensure contents are fully mixed.
  3. Remove the cap and hold the bottle upside down. Squeeze a small drop of adhesive onto a jade/crystal stone or glue flower.
  4. Return to original position, gently squeeze to remove any excess adhesive in the nozzle and replace the cap.
  5. Dip lash extensions into the adhesive (classic or volume) and when placed onto the lash, activate the LED light (6-8 inches for Halo UV and 12-18 inches for Focus light when using at full power) away from the lash for 1 second to cure.
  6. Continue applying lash extensions until complete.

More Details

The Halo Lash System can be used in any environment regardless of temperature or humidity.

Always store Halo adhesive in the included UV resistant pouch when not in use to preserve the adhesive. Do not refrigerate.

  • Focus UV: This comes with more light controls and a heavier base with wheels.
  • Headlamp: Takes our Focus light and makes it a headlamp to allow you to lash from eye to eye.

FAQs

About the IEC/EN 62471 Safety Test

Both Halo Focus and Halo OG were tested to the official IEC/EN 62471 international standard. This test is a worst-case baseline: the lamp is measured at 20 cm (~8 in), full power, with the smallest beam, assuming open-eye, direct viewing for an extended time.

What that means in real use as a UV Lash Light

In practice, Halo Focus at full power is used farther away—typically 30–45 cm (12–18 in)—which significantly reduces exposure compared to the 20 cm test.

Our test results (summary)

  • Halo OG: RG0 (Exempt) even at 20 cm in the lab test. Lower risk profile by design, but less height options than Halo Focus.
  • Halo Focus: RG2 at the required 20 cm / full-power lab setup. At ≥30 cm (12–18 in) using full power, exposure drops enough to fall within the RG1 (low risk) range of the same test method. If you want to use the light at 20 cm, use the lowest power setting which would put it in the range of RG1.

Bottom line: Used at the recommended distance + power level, both lights are safe for UV lashing.
